February 19, 2018 Mountain Tigers Search and Reascue Bacolod had its initial orientation and team recognition with Bernadette Montelibano and Dondon Parandas of the Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office. Gest of the seminar was more on the role of private rescue groups under R.A. 10121 known as the Philippine Disaster Reduction and Management Act of 2010. It shifted the policy environment and the way the country deals with disasters from mere response to preparedness.
